If i wanted to raise money how could i collect it?

i know missing person, 11 yrs since the date she was last seen is coming up and i want to do some thing to spread the word. the problem is i have no money. i figured maybe i can raffle something off or just plain ask for help, now i dont expect anyone to come up with a thousand dollars or whatever, mostly change. is their a way that if i posted an ad on craigslist or the classifieds that i can collect the money safely without people having to come to my house or know any personal info about me? like for example can i just get a paypal account and post a number on the ad and people can just give like 10 cent or something?
