I made a huge mistake and I need some help please!!!!!?

So there's this girl at school that I'm friends with, and I've liked her since near the beginning of the second semester (February/March 2011) and all my friends were telling me to ask her out and I'm a shy guy so I was a bit of a chicken to ask her out because she always had her best friend with her. So finally, time was getting tight because it was the last week of school, I asked her out on Facebook (huge mistake!!!), and she says no. Her exact words were, "I'm really flattered. But I'm having some relationship issues right now with someone, sorry!". Of course, I still have feelings for her. What I would like to know is, do you think that what she said was true or just an excuse as well as, when would be a suitable time (if there ever will be one) to ask her out again? Please give me proper help and please don't troll.

I'm scaring myself with a really ridiculous theory. You see, I lost my Japanese textbook in the first semester . it wasn't used often and we never worked from it so I was OK. Then we had to turn our boks in and my teacher knew I couldn't find mine. It's summer nao and I haven't gotten a bill for the 40 dollar book. I made the teacher a card a week before school ended and had all his classes sign it, he didn't know about it. I gave it to the teacher who has his room. My teacher never said anything about it. What is keeping me from doing it is that I used to have really short boy's hair and I HATED it. Call this a typical teenage problem....?

Okay. So I am a 14 yr old girl who will be going into High School next year. I honestly hate the way I dress (My clothes are so boring and I have no distinct style). I wan't to be able to wear the clothes I wan't (And in my mind I have a very set look) but I don't think my parents will be very happy. Let's just say they are a little bit like a mine. They are set off by even the smallest disturbance. And honestly, right now I can't afford to get on their bad side (For reasons I won't even approach). I am very into alternative/rock/punk music and although my parents are semi aware of my taste (And are very unhappy as it stands) they have no idea about how serious and obsessed I am with it and how important my music is. My music kind of reflects my style and that's where my problem begins (Sorry btw by describing my style as scene, I hate labels but it's the closest thing I could think of) Anyway, I'm not crazy enough to suddenly jump into the boat and scare the **** out of my parents, I just wan't to know how to handle my situation without pissing them off. Just tell them! Your parents should not care if you get those kinds of grades and remember to tell them that you tried your hardest and it was a new program/school. If you tell your parents that you tried your hardest, they might be mad for a while but then they will get over it. Also, promise them from the bottom of you heart that you will do better next year. To answer the last question (the ps question), yes and no. Yes, because if you tell them that you think a tutor will help you, that will show them that you know that you made the mistake but you want to fix it and do better. How do i deal with hatred?

So like a couple of weeks ago. My sister was going to go to wal-mart with my little sister my mom had given my older sister to take my little sister it was about 11:00pm. Thing is my dad is always tripping balls. I hate his ****** attitude. This is one thing I hate I'm watching TV at 10:30 my mom doesn't care its like I'm bothering her. But my dad its like if you were shoving somthing up his @ss. He literally wakes up and goes to tell me to turn it off and won't leave untill I do. He also took my xbox this whole summer just becausei have to go to summer school for one class. I don't under stand why summer when he could of taken it up during the school semester. I stay up to 11 on week ends during school year and he has to bother me about it. Well back to the story. My sisters were going to wal-mart and he started tripping and as they are going out the door he stands up and goes and shoves my big sis that my lil sis can't go any where. I was already standing up to go over there and as I'm walking over to the door, I see my big sis trying to come in and he like literaly smacked her in face with the door. So I went and takcled him to the floor and told him what his ****** problem was. It was 11:00pm and all you can hear are screams from my lil sister. Well know my big sister talks to him like if nothing happend between them and my dad and I havnt talked for about 2 weeks. I told him if I ever saw him touch my mom or my sisters I would kick his @ss. I don't know what to do because I don't think its fair that my sisters talk to him like nothing and I'm here not talking to him for 2weeks. I'm not apologizing and I'm guessing he isn't either.

What kind of scope is best for a 7mm Mag?

Last year I won a Rem 300 Win Mag at a gun raffle. When I got it I put a VX-II 4-12x40mm AO on it. This year I was lucky enough to walk away with a Weatherby Vanguard 7mm Rem Mag with stainless steel barrel. I need some suggestions on a scope to put on it. I was thinking of just getting another VX-II 4-12x40mm AO. A friend of mine told me to go bigger on the 7mm. While another told me to take the VX-II 4-12x40mm AO off the 300, put it on the 7mm and then go bigger on the 300. Anyone have a suggestion? Right now my max shot would be 100 - 150 yds but if I go out west in the future I don't want to have to purchase another scope. I want something I can dial down for now and then use for long range later.

I want to know why people do this..?

This is especially with "skaters". I noticed that "posers" (People who say they skate and ****, but can't even push the board with out smashing their faces.) tell beginner skaters to **** off and stuff because they can't 3 flip on there first try. I'm almost done with my degree but I hate it?

I'm doing my bachelors in International Relations in the University of Edinburgh. I know it's a great university and all, but I HATE MY DEGREE. I studied so hard last semester but my low grades are really demotivating me. On top of that, every year there is so much I hate about my degree. It's all theory, it's all reading; there is NOTHING practical about it. I feel embarrassed when I say what my degree is. On top of everything, I am a full international student, so it's a waste of ALOT of money. I am done with my 3rd year of 4th now. I feel like I won't be able to get a job as I do not know what I want to do with my life, and I am going to be stuck with this ridicioulous degree. My parents tell me to suck it up and finish it but I am so depressed. Seeing my friends who have graduated over a year ago with no jobs because of the lack of jobs in the market makes me even more depressed. I really don't know what I should do. Relationship question.. stuck between two amazing guys.?

(This is going to be a long one). Awhile ago I was with this guy.. we'll call him bob. Bob and I had always kind of had a thing but never did anything about it until then, and it only lasted a very short time then he left for college and nothing really happened after that. Then I got involved with another guy named.. Jim. Jim and I were just getting together when I saw Bob again for the 1st time since things ended with us and I still had a lot of feelings for Bob. So Bob and I hung out and we kissed, while I was with Jim. I never told him until about 4 months into our relationship and he asked out it and I told him the truth. This ended our relationship (let me remind you that Jim also cheated on me once too). So I spent the next 5 or 6 months being depressed and trying to win back Jim and nothing was seeming to work.. we'd be together off and on and it was killing me. So finally the semester ended and Bob came back to town. We ran into each other and started hanging out again and things were going pretty good but I kept getting held back because I still had feelings for Jim. Jim and I still talked everyday and it was hard to start something with Bob since Jim was always around. So as time went on I discovered that Jim still loved me and that Bob had been waiting to me to be done with Jim so that he could finally have his chance and he too loved me. Bob has issues along with Jim and basically I was the only good thing in either one of their lives. Now I have to pick from the two of them.. One that has always been there for me(Bob) and one that I have a past relationship with (Jim) and i'm really stuck and I don't know what to do.. Any advice would be awesome I know this is long and probably confusing, I'm sorry.

Well you sound like you have exceptionally high standards which is good. With those grades you are sure to get into an exceptional college. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you tried your hardest in that class, that's what counts. Everyone has that odd out class that just isn't their cup of tea. Hey im 15 I live in NY Manhattan and in the 9th grade. I passed all my semester classes(but algebra once) with a 70 or higher. My highest average was 81. I took the Algebra and living environment Regents. I passed the Algebra with a 65 but I want to retake it for a higher grade. I failed the L.E Regents with a 52. In that class I have always had a 70 or higher but the Regents was just to much. If i fail it again in August can I still go to the tenth grade and take it then?

Should I save or pay off student loan debt?

Me and my husband just got married and I had to use my credit card a little towards the end of the wedding planning. Now that the wedding is over, I'm trying to decide whether I should save or pay off debt. I have a little credit card debt and my husband is in his last semester of school. So our plan is to spend the rest of the year paying off the credit card debt and paying off his last semester of school. The only debt we'll have come January is our student loan debt. But our student loan debt isn't even that much. I owe 10,200 and my fiance only owe $3000. However, we do not have a savings at all. I wanted to build an emergency savings, a savings for a down payment on a home and then our separate savings. Our emergency savings and savings for a down payment on a home will be our joint savings and then we'll have our own separate savings. Is it a good idea to just pay a little more than the minimum on our student loans and put the bulk of our money into savings. I feel so stupid that I didn't work on this earlier. I'm 25 and he's 27 and we weren't saving because we were traveling a lot, we moved twice, and we had a wedding. Now that that's done, I feel we have a lot of catching up to do. What do you suggest?

For my summer financial aid, they said it was not guaranteed that it would cover classes beginning June 6, 2011 or later. On the sheet it says that my particular grant only covers courses before that date. Two weeks after June 6, I call them and I'm told something different. Now, my summer financial aid WILL cover classes beginning later on in the summer semester. Was it unwise to not even register for those classes, when the financial aid coverage was still unsure? They told me they've just determined that it will cover those later summer classes, that initially they told students it wasn't guaranteed.

Was this a raffle scam and what would you do?

Hi... need advice. I went to a local fundraiser in a small town where I grew up and there was a raffle for a Harley Fat Boy ($20 each ticket) I bought one and at the bottom it was has to be a minimum of 500 tickets sold (of course I didn't notice that until three days later after thinking omg I won a Harley!). Anyway they pulled the ticket and I won...very excited then told three days later "sorry, only 180 tickets sold" They admitted that they screwed up because they should not have pulled out a name because there wasn't enough sold and then offered to give me the $3600 that was collected in total... which I will not take because it was already given to the family of the very sick guy and I'm not going to take that from him. Someone else I know was the one who was raffling his bike (he was suppose to get $5k and give the other $5k to the family after the 500 tickets were sold)... anyway my question is what would you do and is what they did illegal seeing how they sold all these people $20 tickets for a chance to win a bike that never went to anyone? I even have a friend that called me to say she was going to buy a ticket and the guy at the door was a good friend and he wouldn't sell her one but wouldn't tell her why. I am so upset about this!

I have a mint 1972 Schwinn Sport Tourer, with original bike manual still attached. How much is it worth?

The owner of the bike said that it was won in a raffle in 1972 and had been in the basement ever since. He cleaned it up and it looks beautiful. It is a bright and shiny turquoise color. Everything seems to be original. Everything is working and besides a little dirt here and there it looks brand new. The only thing that actually shows age is the leather Brooks saddle, which is cracking. I have found a few used bikes on Ebay that were similar and they were going for around $1000. Ugh i feel like i've been asking for so much advice lately?

Alright yahoo people i need some help from some adults with wisdom no ignorant and childish comments need not apply . Um where do i begin well lately i've been having some issues at home and i've been coming on here more then ever to get advice from people and its been very helpful to me in the past few days. Now i have a very rocky relationship with my dad we don't get along for the most part , now for some damn reason he feels its his business to always ask me about my finances and about my unemployment that i was receiving. We have gotten into countless fights verbally and i try to understand why he needs to be in my business all the time. Then this morning he got on my case about a job saying and that he was going to get me a monthly bus pass so that i do some job hunting. Now i have a job its a legit work from home job for a software development company the only thing is , is that i haven't started my training yet because you need a checking account for your clients. So now that i'm 23 years old i know damn well that my behind needs to leave because being here isn't conducive to my life at all . For some reason he thinks that he can still control my life all the time and well that's how he was raised over in trinidad i guess. The men control all females and i hate that and i've told him he needs to stop its very unhealthy to be that way. Everyone on here has been so helpful to me with my situations and i do appreciate all the people who don't even know me try to help me out , its very kind of them. So yahoo peeps what should i do , i mean i do have a plan of action to move down to Fl for college and to start over. I like my best guy friend?

So the guy i like just came to our school at the very beginning of the year. When I first saw him, I thought he was really cute and I liked him. But I thought that i should just kinda forget about it because he was REALLY quiet and seemed stuck up.(Sounds cheesy, I know) So at lunch my friends and I would try to sit near his table just to be near him...even though i still didn't know him. NJClass Loans already billing me?

I have taken a semester leave during late February from school and will be returning in the fall. I have also taken my "exit counseling interview" which was required by the financial aid office/loan company apon leaving. I have just gotten a letter in the mail stating that I have been 20 days past due my NJclass loan payment for the month and if 30 days past due, will be reported towards my credit. Why am I being billed if I have not been out of school for 6 months and have not dropped school? Whats worse is I cannot get a hold of these people on the phone or email so having my credit on the line is pretty serious when I cannot get any help or any answers. According to the NJClass Loan website, their loans work just like any other loan...monthly repayment is 6 months after a student leaves/exits school.

Okay Hun, listen, SATs are for getting into college. As for as how long, that really depends on the test. My Phsychology test lasted 4 hours. And I got a good grade. My advice for studying is to NOT STUDY IN A COMFERTABLE place, if you do, you wil most likely fall asleep. Make sure you are eating well, and getting proper nutrition. Your body isn't going to be able to take in any of your information you are studying if you are tired and hungry. About getting a perfect score, good luck! It isn't easy to get a perfect score. Even I didn't get a perfect score. Nerves were killing me ad it was hard to concentrate, but I did pretty well, you need to make sure you are ready for the test. Best of luck

I am having a fight with one of my friends at school?

There is this girl who originally invited me into the group when I had no friends. She was kind and nice but when stuff started to go my way she became really mean. e.g. I started coming top of my classes ( she is in all of my classes), I got free plane tickets to places, started taking really good photos, coming well in cross country and so on. I'm not really sure what type of University you're lookin at. Harvard, probably not. Harvard probably requires a 4.0 or really close and really active in stuff. Most public state universities are pretty easy to get into if your GPA is above 2.6 or something. So you are off to a great start! A lot of colleges look at any volunteer work you do too which gives you an extremely good edge for colleges and jobs after college.

Studying Abroad in Estonia?

I'm wanting to study abroad in Estonia and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. I know I need to be able to pay for insurance, the flight, boarding, classes, a residence permit, a student VISA and all the other things like food/utilities/etc. They offer semester programs, but I am told by many people that a semester isn't the best because as soon as you're used to everything, you're already days away from your plane trip home. My question is that is there any creditable places that offer student loans? The problem for me is that my parents will not cosign on anything for me as they're completely against me going overseas. I'm hesitant on asking for federal loans because if all goes well, I would definitely consider moving there. I know it's easier said than done, but I'm definitely keeping my mind open to the idea. I'm completely going into this blindly in terms of knowing what else I need to do so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

What should I do with my life?

I'm currently a 3rd year student at a community college. I should be able to transfer in two more semesters to 4-year university, but the problem is I always struggle to get good grades and I believe I have learning disability and have hard time understanding in class. The reason I was able to get credits is because those classes are easy but when it comes to major requirements I have a hard time. I want to major in business, however even though I'm not too excited going to major in business, it is my best interest. I took a career class at my community college and it didnt help much. I almost drop out of college because I got academic probation level 1 before. I'm afraid it will happen again and this time I will have to drop out of college and end up working a low wage job. What should I do? Any suggestions?

I am 14 years old and very very mature... My mum likes cats and my dad hates them (or at least says so) I am willing to feed the cat, clean out its litter and play with it every day. My parents used to have cats but one of them refused to use its litter box so they had it put down... Okay. So I am a 14 yr old girl who will be going into High School next year. I honestly hate the way I dress (My clothes are so boring and I have no distinct style). My music kind of reflects my style and that's where my problem begins (Sorry btw by describing my style as scene, I hate labels but it's the closest thing I could think of) Anyway, I'm not crazy enough to suddenly jump into the boat and scare the **** out of my parents, I just wan't to know how to handle my situation without pissing them off. I'm torn between getting my masters MSc domestically ( in the USA ) or abroad ( in the UK). I would have to get a student loan to afford this as I have just graduated with my BSc and have had little time to save. I graduated from undergrad with only needing to borrow $3500 for my last semester so I dont really have any loans currently. I started researching the process of getting a student loan to study abroad and found that it appears very limiting. If I choose to go to the UK for grad school ( which would be awesome) I have to prove that I have the funds beforehand. Thus, Is it possible to borrow $40,000 in student loans for tuition and living expenses to study abroad for a year?

Why did I not get all of my excess funds from my student loans?

I am attending university of phoenix axia college. I applied for and got approved for the maximum amount of student loans. Which is 9500 Direct loans sent me a letter saying I should get 4727 back but my adviser said I am only getting 2000 back. Financial aid only for spring semester?

I have already applied for FAFSA a long time ago (maybe around February or March) and I already got the aid. However, i'm changing universities so the aid was for my former university. Do I just do the corrections to get aid for the spring semester at my new university? I don't need financial aid for fall, is it possible to not do it for the whole academic year? I am going to community college before going to a new college because I missed the deadline so I haven't been accepted, can I put the school's name now on FAFSA? I really really like this guy. He has a great personality and we definitely have a connection. I want it to work, but I'm not sure if he'd want to be in a relationship with me. I am still working on my undergrad (have three more semesters) while he recently finished his masters (he is recently unemployed but was working up until 2 months agoa) Financially, there is no problem as my dad is the CEO of a certain somewhat nationally known company...
