Why are there so many poser fans of Eminem?

coz they've only known him since recovery, they never heard his other stuff beforehand. i first heard eminem in 2007, i personally love his SSLP and MMLP albums best, and the eminem show is good aswell. but some of them only liked him since recovery and havent spent time hearing his older stuff
